Please share some ideas on my issue. The files will not play on QuickTime either, I get this stupid error message 2000 (a necessary data reference could not be resolved) that I can't seem to work around. I'm getting the error message straight from the finder, trying to open the files that way. Restart your computer.Try reinstalling QuickTime. I checked permissions of the files themselves and they are the same as the other ones which played fine. When I do both of these methods, nothing happens... But once its on the local drive, same result. Register Now!
So I installed the latest version of Quicktime again, and the .mov files played in Quicktime fine, but the imported AE assets still don't connect.I've tried to right click on the Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx. (If you have "Hide filename extensions for known file types" enabled on the PC, those files will display as QuickTime and QuickTimeVR.)7.
