I am using the edge Rails and when the error is raised in the view then Rails freezes (eats more and more CPU and memory). Rails also handles exceptions with middlewares. I've actually had to use another method for exception handling as we are showcasing the project tomorrow and just needed to get it off the ground. In regards Devise - the current functionality takes devise users and adds them to the db if they're logged in. This provides an easy way to hook into the ShowExceptions middleware by overriding the config.exceptions_app. I did a bundle update of the gem and got vesion 0.3.35, but I see you have updated the version in your latest commit to 0.3.45. When I look at the activity monitor, I can clearly see the "ruby" process using more and more ram memory, until total freeze when this happen.
It doesn't solve the problem for us. @xaviershay 's found a few similar things, his patch appears to do the same thing as the Andrey's?
