out of 10 dvd's I backup to dvd 5 discs 4.7GB most of the time get 8 with no problems, ... And yes, there are little scratches on the disk, but surely if its good enough to play the thing through one of the players, its good enough to burn. It seems to me that you just have a bad block and it will not extract no matter what you do. Moreover I can't burn an ISO image with DVD Decrypter as well, nor with Smart Ripper.
